We spoke to Mercedes design boss Peter Pfeiffer at the recent Detroit Motor Show – and asked him about the future strategy at the Stuttgart company. We had a discussion last year about the current Mercedes-Benz line-up. Mercedes has a very strict design and the idea came up to do a forward-looking car.
Acura gave us the full rundown of the 2014 MDX SUV on Wednesday. The seven-passenger people-mover goes on sale tomorrow, and for the first time includes a base front-wheel-drive version which stickers at $43,185. The Acura MDX has a new platform for 2014 that's lower and narrower, but with a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase.
Porsche has launched a range of customisation options for the Panamera
The emphasis is on the quality of the customised features, and include leather, wood, carbon and aluminium. You can opt for the louvres on the air vents, the sun visors, the interior mirror, the trim cover on the steering column and the seat console front and rear, all in top-grade leather. You can have the Yachting Mahogany Interior Package with trim panels on the dashboard and the doors as well as trim covers on the centre console.
